How you opt in
Rivr is an AI general manager for home-services businesses that operates over text messaging. You opt in to receive messages from Rivr in one of two ways, both of which are an affirmative, express request to be contacted at the mobile number you provide:
- Entering your mobile phone number in the "Connect with Rivr" field on meetrivr.com and submitting it (shown above), or
- Texting Rivr's published business number directly.
Consent is per-person: we only message a number that its owner has personally submitted or texted from. We never add or message anyone who has not directly opted in themselves, and we never share opt-in information or consent records with third parties for their own marketing.
What you'll receive
Messages relate to setting up and operating your Rivr account — for example: onboarding and setup steps, replies to questions you send, appointment and job updates, estimates, dispatch notifications, billing notices, and account alerts. These are account and service communications, not third-party advertising.
Message frequency & rates
Message frequency varies based on your usage — a few messages during setup, then as needed once Rivr is actively handling your calls, texts, and jobs. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
How you opt out
- Reply STOPat any time to any message from Rivr to immediately unsubscribe. You'll get a one-time confirmation and receive no further messages unless you opt back in.
- Reply START (or text us again) to opt back in.
- Reply HELP at any time for help, or email hello@meetrivr.com.
Opt-out is honored across both RCS and SMS. Because Rivr's core function is answering your business communications, opting out ends your ability to use the Service.
